Festival 2022

Victoria Maksakova. Exhausted but excited

dec 2-4 9:00

Center for Contemporary Choreography

Before a dance class or a performance, we may not have time to recuperate, or vice versa, arrive incredibly charged and ready for challenges.

In those different states of fatigue or overexcitement, what power can become the electricity that directs our actions? During the workshop, we will search for this electricity within ourselves, and pay attention to the non-obvious together.

We will immerse ourselves into the abundance of dance study material, not being afraid to get weak or on the opposite - get inspired. We will focus on technical details and will delve into work with quality, and condition, and acknowledge the change.
